  • So here was my very interesting Saturday...

I got up at 5:30 am to take a two hour car ride with Mr. Hooper, my choir director here at Tech. We were going to lhere the All-East Honors choirs. Within the trip, we got lost once, almost got in a  wreck, and listen to a mexican cooking show on the radio... I know that might not sound like much, but you spend over 12 hours with one of your professors, and see where you end up!

This week contains a chem lab, performance, a music history paper, turkey.... and surprisingly that's about it, ladies and gentlemen. So therefore, I'm going to rest. Peace!

  • H'ok, so... this is my xanga (this is a sweet xanga you might say) Flat!.....

So yeah, this weekend was lots of fun. Yesterday me, Noel, and Abeth went and saw Rocky Horrow at MTSU. That was an experience. I honor every man that can actually run in stilettos! Wesley choir sang at Friendship UMC. The choir did good, but the sanctuary was very dead, and as a music major, it bothered me very much, but oh well.

You all will be happy to know that me and corey gave birth to some floor space in our dorm room. We (I) can actually walk around... it's amazing. And I think that is all......

  • The world keeps on turning

Well, the studio voice recital is tonight, and I'm pretty excited, but my throat is absolutely killing me. My goal is just to sing my one song, and get off stage, and then I won't mind losing my voice and getting sick (as long as I'm better by Thanksgiving)!

Just when I thought the semester was going to be slowing down, it ends up speeding back up again. I've got a big One Hour Exam in Chemistry next Thursday, a performance at 2 on the 20th for chorale-something-or-another, about 7 other chorale performances, several Wesley choir practices and performances, a huge music history paper that's due in like 10 days...... and whatever else I don't want to remember now. But besides that, it's a much better semester than the past two. Also, next semester is going to be much easier, and dare I say the word.... FUN!! Strings Class, AT, and maybe even Water Aerobics (yes, it will help my back problems) will be my Thursday schedule, and that makes me happy!
